NO ALCOHOL
Do not consume alcoholic beverages for at least 24 hours before treatment, as alcohol can increase the risk of bruising.
MEDICATIONS
Avoid, if possible, anti-inflammatory or blood-thinning medications for two weeks before treatment, as their effects can increase the risk of bruising and swelling (Aspirin, Vitamin E, Ginkgo Biloba, Ginseng, St. John’s Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil supplements, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve, and other NSAIDs).
NO MAKEUP
Do not wear makeup or be prepared to remove it before your appointment.
SWELLING
Schedule your appointment at least two weeks before any special event, as swelling may take up to two weeks to subside.
HYDRATION
Eat a balanced meal and stay well-hydrated before your appointment.

An in-person meeting is essential to assess your needs and ensure a personalized experience. Depending on the desired treatment, procedures can begin during this consultation. Allocate at least 1.5 hours for this visit. You can complete registration forms online to speed up the process.Step 3: Procedure
Dr. Meguerba’s highly qualified team is equipped to meet your needs and goals. Numbing creams may be used for your comfort.Step 4: Post-Procedure Follow-Up
You may experience swelling, bruising, or redness after injections. Apply ice and gently massage the area. If any issues arise, contact the office promptly and provide photos if possible. Once the swelling subsides, you’ll love your results!
POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Botox:
Remain upright for 3 to 4 hours after the procedure. Sleep slightly elevated with one or two pillows.
Avoid excessive facial expressions on the day of treatment.
No massages or facials for one week.
Apply ice to injected areas to reduce bruising.
Wear sunglasses to avoid squinting.
Results start appearing after 48 hours and are fully visible after 7 days. They last about 4 months.
Under-Eye Fillers:
Apply ice to the area for 30 minutes on the first day, every two hours if possible (2–3 times is sufficient).
Limit physical exercise to light activities for the first two days.
Avoid saunas and minimize sweating.
Gently massage any visible nodules or bumps for one week.
Avoid salty foods and alcohol for the first two weeks.
